Southeastern's Social Work program follows a generalist practice model, providing students with the knowledge and skills needed to work with clients with a variety of social problems on multiple levels. In addition to understanding global and international ramifications of contemporary social and political realities, students are trained to work effectively with diverse individuals, groups, families, organizations and small communities in rural areas.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
  • Total semester hours required: 120

  • 430 hours in a field internship at a social service agency
