The College of Nursing and Health Sciences along with the Southeastern Foundation are working to help supplement the low inventory of masks for our healthcare providers. We want to ensure our current and future graduates have masks and are ready to immediately help with this crisis.
How Can You Help?
Please help us provide SLU Lion masks to our healthcare providers and front line workers caring for our Lion Nation community - support the "Mask Up" Project!
We have supplies and several easy patterns. The masks you make will be donated to those in need.
Volunteers are needed to:
Sew masks (partially or completely finished), or teach family members to do so.
Collect and donate supplies.
Donate to the "Mask-Up" Project via the Southeastern Foundation for the purchase of additional supplies.
Please LION-UP to help us MASK-UP those we deeply care for and appreciate. Thank you for your consideration.
These masks will first go to current and future alumni and then to the regional medical population after this need is filled.
Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to request materials, or deliver partially completed masks or completed masks. Masks can also be dropped off in the collection box under the breezeway at the Kinesiology and Health Sciences Building (next to track): 400 Mane St.
