Events, Housing & Dining

Campus Events

As you expect, campus events will be significantly limited in both size and number. Southeastern will follow the State of Louisiana’s Phase guidance as it is applicable to events and gatherings. Currently, the plan is that all events can be no larger than 25 attendees. Indoor events will be limited to 50% of any given room’s capacity. All events and student meetings require normal approvals. Social distancing and face mask use are expected as appropriate.


Campus Housing 

Southeastern’s residence halls already provide for minimization of close person to person contact.  Rooms and bathrooms are shared by no more than two students.  In many cases, students have a private bedroom offering even more social distancing space and share a bathroom with no more than one other student.  Housing common areas will be cleaned and sanitized by janitorial staff at least 3 times daily.


On-Campus Dining

Dining facilities will reduce seating to ensure distancing and will also continue to offer grab-and-go choices in order to aid those who do not wish to or cannot dine in.
