Students Doing Lion Up While Social Distancing

Welcome Home

Southeastern is your home and we are all here to welcome you back. Campus is just not the same without our Southeastern family here, and you are a vital part of that family.

The university experience is a unique one, and it is a once-in-a-lifetime period for most of us. We hope to continue to provide this experience as much as possible, but, as you know, we must balance that with the safety of students, faculty and staff.

As we return to on campus instruction and events, we all recognize that campus will look and feel somewhat different. Many classes will reflect flexible formats that include online and face-to-face components. Events will be limited in both size and number. These changes are necessary to comply with public health guidelines and to help keep everyone as safe as possible. Of course, the goal is to preserve the educational benefits and college experience associated with face-to-face instruction wherever possible.

Our plans to return to campus have been the work of the entire campus. From our facilities teams ensuring campus will be clean to our faculty creating flexible plans to provide you with an excellent education, to our students who have given us feedback along the way – this plan has countless hours, days and weeks of effort in it. Our goal is your safety, and your success.
