Metabolism of Escherichia coli envelope phospholipids during T4 Bacteriophage infection (involved Bacteriology, Virology, and Biochemistry) Dr. Clarence Buller, Chairman of the Micobiology Department was Major Professor. Won the university award for outstanding graduate student.

Postdoctoral Experience:

Kansas State University. Research Associate in Microbiology. Molecular Biology of Staphylococcus aureus

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. Dallas, Texas. Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases. Studied Vibrio cholerae and enteropathogenic E. coli.
