Rebecca S. Effler is originally from Louisiana. Rebecca obtained B.S and M.S in Biology from Southeastern Louisiana University focusing on environmental studies and forested wetlands, and a Doctoral Degree from Louisiana State University in Entomology. Rebecca has worked for LSU and University of Georgia as an Instructor/Post doctoral research associate. 

Personal Interests: Dr. Effler enjoys boating, fishing, water skiing. Also, she currently trains in

martial arts in Livingston, LA and holds a black belt in karate.
