Academic Advising

The department of Communication and Media Studies offers advising to its students during the 3 weeks before Priority Registration. You must meet with your academic advisor in order to have your registration hold removed. Advising is not available during academic breaks or during the break between semesters. 

Your advisor should be reaching out to you soon about scheduling an advising meeting. Our advisors can meet with you face-to-face or virtually. It is highly encouraged to become familiar with your curriculum and which courses you may need in order to help the advising process go smoothly. Our Advising Office is open Monday-Thursday from 8:00am-4:30pm.
