William Curran Scholarship
Recipient must have a minimum overall college GPA of 3.0. The beginning freshmen must have a minimum overall high school GPA of 3.0. Must be majoring in Computer Science and be an initiated member of the Association of Computing Machinery. Beginning freshmen must be planning to join the Association of Computing Machinery. Must be enrolled full-time.
CGB Enterprises, Inc Scholarship
Recipient must be majoring in Computer Science or Information Technology. Must be
an upperclassman (sophomore, junior or senior standing). Must have a minimum college
GPA of 3.0. Demonstrate financial need (i.e., scholarships are critical to their attending
Southeastern). Must
be enrolled full-time.
SGA Endowed Scholarship in Science and Technology
Recipient must be a junior (completing 45 hours minimum and 60+ hours of course work
at Southeastern), and major in one of the disciplines in the College of Science and
Technology. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required. Must have a record of active participation
in registered Southeastern student organizations, provide evidence of involvement
in community service,
and be enrolled full-time.
Thomas F. Higginbotham Scholarship
(SPRING AWARD ONLY) Must be majoring in Computer Science. Must be an upperclassman (junior or senior standing). Must demonstrate significant grade point average improvement. Must be enrolled full-time.
Breakout Games Escape Room Scholarship
(One Awarded Each Month) Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit, creativity and relevance of future goals the applicant is pursuing. Not limited to any particular area of study. WTI Scholarship
Recipient(s) must be majoring in Computer Science, Information Technology or ISAT.
Various scholarships are available for underserved populations in tech, veterans,
transfer students, 5th year students, readmits, transfer students and graduate students.
Scholarships will be awarded based on student unmet financial need. http://www.
Workforce Talent Initiative Mini-Scholarships
The College of Science and Technology in coordination with the Department of Computer Science is pleased to announce funding for mini-scholarships for information technology industry certifications. Eligible students must be majoring or minoring in Computer Science or Information Technology. The College’s Workforce Talent Initiative (WTI) is administering the mini-scholarship program.
If any Computer Science or Information Technology student passes a pre-approved industry certification, they can have the cost of the exam awarded to them as a scholarship. This scholarship does NOT cover the cost of training, education or failed exams.
Other scholarships are available through the university.
