David Armand

I was born and raised in Louisiana. I have worked as a drywall hanger, a draftsman, and a press operator in a flag-printing factory.I now teach at Southeastern Louisiana University, where I also serve as assistant editor for Louisiana Literature. In 2003,I won the D Vickers Award for creative writing, and my work has been frequently recognized by the William Faulkner Society in New Orleans. I live with my wife, Lucy, our daughter, Lily, and our son, Levi. I am currently at work on my second novel.
