Brief bio:
Dr. Woosley is a Louisiana native and earned four (4) degrees from Louisiana State University
(LSU) in Baton Rouge. As an undergraduate student, he was a member of the LSU Track and
Field team and completed a BS degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Human Movement
Sciences. He continued his studies in this area and later earned a MS in Kinesiology with a focus
on Motor Behavior and Biomechanics. Dr. Woosley then moved to the College of Business
where he earned a MS in Information Systems and Decision Sciences (ISDS) and Ph.D. in
Business Administration with an ISDS focus. Professionally, he has worked in a variety of
industries and capacities. Before finishing his Ph.D., Dr. Woosley rejoined the LSU Track and
Field program as a member of the coaching staff for three (3) years where he was responsible
for the men's and women's throwing events. He is married with a son and twin daughters.
Teaching Interests:
Quantitative business courses in supply chain management, production and operations
management, management information systems, and business statistics.
Research Interests:
Various topics in supply chain management, inventory control, healthcare, and management
information systems.
