Farmers Market Manager Internship

Starting in the Spring 2012 semester, the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice developed a Farmers Market Manager Internship. This internship is an exciting opportunity for a talented Sociology major to manage a real farmers market!

Social Justice Lecture Series

In 2004, the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice organized the annual Social Justice Lecture Series as a means of bringing nationally- and internationally-recognized social justice activists to the Southeastern community.

LEaD Talk Series

The LEaD Series is designed to bring criminal justice leaders and other professionals working in law enforcement, corrections, courts, private sector security and other support activities to speak
about their careers and professional activities. Our speakers will provide you with an inside glimpse into your future LEADERSHIP, EDUCATION and DEVELOPMENT (LEaD) that are
required in the criminal justice field, you are thinking about entering.

Our speakers are graduates of Southeastern who will speak about their own SLU educational experience and studies, how they selected criminal justice as a profession, and how they
developed their particular interest and specialties.
