Beginner String Orchestra Workshop

This workshop allows first to third year violin, viola, cello and bass students to experience the joy of playing together while improving their music reading and performance skills as well as their knowledge of music theory. The daily orchestra session is bound to bring every student's musicianship to the next level through various musical fun activities.

Workshop Specifics

Enrollment Limit: 20 students

Student Qualifications: 1st to 3rd year violin, viola, cello, bass students

Daily Schedule: 4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday

                            10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Friday with a concert at 1 p.m.  

                            (lunch is provided on Friday)

                              

 

Fees

Cost of the workshop is $125.00 per student due on June 1. This fee covers tuition, liability insurance, and campus health services. ($20 late registration fee will apply to all registrations postmarked after June 1)
