At Pennington Student Activity Center During the week of August 26th, Recreational Sports and Wellness invites you to treat yourself to a one hour massage for half of the price. Wellness Services' Angel Lester, LMT, MMT, will tailor your experience to your unique needs through Swedish Relaxation, Hot Stone and Myofascial Cupping techniques. All massages take place in the Wellness Suite of the Pennington Student Activity Center. To book your 1/2 price massage, contact Angel Lester at (985) 634-6040. Then, email Megan Mast, Assistant Director of Health and Fitness, for your client packet.

Delta Omicron Alpha (DOA) meeting - open to anyone with Health Sciences interests

DOA is Southeastern's Healthcare Organization and stands for Delta Omega Alpha. DOA brings in speakers from all around the country to speak to students regarding various areas such as going to medical school,veterinary school, podiatry school, pharmacy school, optometry school, nursing school, physical therapy, and occupational therapy schools just to name a few. These speakers discuss admissions requirements, things that you can be doing to beef up your application, opportunities for research and study abroad, available scholarships, and many other very valuable things! In addition to meetings, we have community service events and participate as an organization in many things around campus!
Other than just receiving excellent information and being involved in the community, DOA is also great for your resume! Professional schools look to see if you have been involved in the healthcare organization of your school, which is for us at Southeastern the DOA. We do offer cords for graduating seniors who have met the point requirement. Also, we give out awards at the end of the year to the most active members.

The Southeastern Marketing Association is a strategic resource for career growth and
development. It offers students of ALL majors the opportunity to meet new people,
network with marketing professionals, and attend a wide variety of professional events.
Also, it provides an opportunity for students with common interests to share those
interests with other students.
You do NOT need to be a marketing major to join.
There will be free pizza and drinks.

College of Business Professional Week
COB has a "Business Professional Week" every fall semester.
Date: October 13-16.
During this week, guest lecturers are invited to business classes. Every business student is encouraged to attend these lectures. They do not have to be enrolled in that class to attend.
Further information will be posted on COB webpage as it gets closer. It will list the speaker, focus of the lecture, location, etc.
