Southeastern welcomes students back for the start of classes this week while we continue to keep all faculty, staff and students who are not yet able to make it to campus in our thoughts as the region works to recover from devastating flooding.

Alison Maraman is currently the Instructor of Anatomy for the Dancer, Intermediate Modern, and Social Dance at Southeastern Louisiana University. She has a BA in Liberal Arts/Dance from Southeastern and a degree from Medical Training College. She has been choreographing with the Department of Fine and Performing Arts at Southeastern for the past 10 years and has been a State certified massage and bodywork therapist for the last 4 years in the city of Hammond. She fuses both art and science into her classes so that the students will gain knowledge of both the creative and mechanical/biological aspects of dance.
