Jayetta Slawson

 

Jayetta Slawson holds a Ph.D. in Performance Studies from New York University. Her main area of interest is Performance Composition. She has taught over twenty-five different courses for the English Department; is a past recipient of the President's Award for Excellence in Teaching; and has organized campus visits of numerous speakers, writers, and performers, including two Pulitzer-Prize winners. Dr. Slawson is active in the National Society for Experiential Education, a graduate of the Experiential Education Academy, and serves on the ULS Service-Learning Council.

Andrew Kessler

 

Andrew Kessler is pursuing his M.A. in History, concentrating in public history. He obtained Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and History from Nicholls State University in 2016. In addition, he is a member of the Phi Alpha Theta historical honor society.

Robin Reynolds is a junior from New Orleans currently studying Secondary Education. She would like to become the kind of teacher that takes into consideration every student's learning needs so they can excel in all educational pursuits from that moment on.
