Survival Spanish

Survival Spanish for Beginners

Course Overview:
Take a trip to your favorite Spanish-speaking city and immerse yourself in the Spanish language for ten weeks, right here in Livingston Parish. Experience what it can be like to land in a foreign city and not able to use English at all. Speaking another language can be a necessity, especially in the workplace. Survival Spanish for beginners will be a fun, conversational course designed to practice daily life and work scenarios by speaking strictly in Spanish. Survival Spanish lessons will include immersion practices in conversation, reading and writing. Instruction will take place using videos, computer assignments, written and oral exercises and team projects. By the end of this ten week course, participants will feel confident holding a "survival" conversation in Spanish.
