HS 133 - Healthy Lifestyles for the 21st Century T 6:00 PM - 8:45 PM
133 Healthy Lifestyles for the 21st Century. Credit 3 hours. Permission of the Department Head. Course is designed so that students learn the importance of identifying and applying steps for making decisions and taking responsibility for their own health-related learning and behaviors. Knowledge recall as ell as more advanced learning skills are addressed in assignments and examinations. Students will also become aware of a wide range of health resources, support services and technology. (Fall, Spring).
MATH 161 - College Algebra T,Th 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
161 College Algebra. [ LCCN: CMAT 1213 , Collge Algebra ] Credit 3 hours. Prerequisite: A score of 21 or above on Mathematics section of the ACT. A study of families of functions and their graphs. Topics include linear, polynomial, rational, exponential and logarithmic functions, and systems of equations. Functions will be used to model and solve application-based problems. A student may not receive credit for both MATH 155 and MATH 161. A laboratory fee is required for this course. (Summer, Fall, Spring).
