Adapted Physical Education Mini Camp
This mini camp is a fun filled 3 hour session of physical education type activities. Focus will be on motor development, socializations, and having FUN! The camp is directed and run by Dr. Renae' Wallace, certified Adapted Physical Education Teacher and instructor at Southeastern, and Kinesiology graduate / undergraduate students working towards A.P.E. Certification.
The camp is a one week session from June 17 - June 20, Mon - Thurs, 12:00 - 3:00 PM. Located in the Gymnasium Kinesiology and Health Building, 400 Tennessee Street.
Drop-off and pick-up is inside the gymnasium on the first day. After that arrangements will be made to meet your child outside of the building (left side of building, 2nd door).
Skill & Fitness Activities
Various locomotor, manipulative, pre-sport skills, as well as organized games and special day events will be offered at a developmentally appropriate level.
Snacks & Dress
Students should dress appropriately in cool clothing and tennis shoes. A light snack will be served during the afternoon before pickup. Cost of the snack is included in your fee. NOTE: It is requested that children not bring toys, money, electronics, or valuable items to camp. Southeastern is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
