Introduction to Better Living


Course Overview

Interested in exploring the hidden facts about the foods that bring you down? This class will introduce you to the ways that nutrition can change your mood, energy, and performance. Students will learn the basics of solid nutrition and the benefits of whole foods. Individual journals will help track the way that different foods effect you. Handouts will be provided to introduce new concepts. Students will be encouraged to try new recipes, and be courageous in the kitchen based on these concepts. Open class discussions will be encouraged as a means of supporting and learning through fellow students. With simple steps, students will become aware of the proper food choices for better living.
