- CAMPUS LIFE
Due to the intensification of Hurricane Zeta, Southeastern is extending the Remote phase of the Academic Continuity Plan through Thursday. All classes at all campuses will be remote, and non-essential staff will work remotely through Thursday, returning to normal operations on Friday. Staff previously identified as essential personnel should report to work as normal - questions regarding essential staff should be directed to your supervisor. All campus events scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday will be postponed.
As of May 5 - additional savings!
Southeastern has re-imagined our Summer Semester to help you get ahead faster and smarter - all online!
A $300 credit will be given to all summer students (undergraduate and graduate) and all student self assessed fees will also be waived (approximately $130). The credit and fee waiver will show on students' fee bills. This effectively makes the cost for most undergraduate students less than $300 per credit hour.* Additionally, out-of-state fees are waived. See estimated tuition here.
*Undergraduate nursing students will have added fees specific to their situation.

If you are already admitted for the fall semester, you can begin taking classes at Southeastern this summer. You can take up to 6 hours (typically 2 classes) at a very low cost. By starting in the summer you will be able to take advantage of two programs that reduce your cost: the Summer Scholars program that waives tuition for up to 6 hours and the Summer Smart savings which discounts classes up to an additional $300 and waived self assessed student fees as mentioned above.
High school students may apply for the Southeastern Scholars Program to attend classes during the summer.
Scholarships are available for part-time enrollment for qualified students who participate in this early admissions opportunity. These scholarships for high school students are in addition to the reduced cost for the summer semester classes. This allows you to get a head start on your college career at a significantly reduced cost.
Students from other universities can also take advantage of the Summer Online Savings! Those wanting to attend Southeastern for the summer semester and then return to their home institution must submit an official transcript or an official letter showing good academic standing from the college or university currently attending.
