Experience eRecruiting

Experience eRecruiting (eR) is a job search assistance system designed to make your job search easier and more efficient. It is the leading provider of university career networks for students and alumni, supporting over 600 university career centers and alumni associations. With the latest version of highly intuitive and easy-to-use software for college students and graduates, you can target and connect with employers for internship, entry-, mid-, and senior-level positions. This technology will allow Southeastern students and alumni to quickly and easily, from the CS student lab or from their homes, become active and highly effective participants in the job market.

Registration with Career Services via eRecruiting is required to utilize any of the following career counseling or job search assistance services. Regardless of which service you plan to utilize, completion of the profile section in eRecruiting is mandatory.

On-Campus Interviews

Each Fall and Spring semester, employers interview students and alumni on-campus!

  • You MUST register with, and upload your resume into, eR in order to interview

  • You MUST meet the qualifications specified by the employer

  • Schedule for interviews 24/7 through eR

  • Check the interview schedule frequently for new employers added

  • Interviews are conducted in the Career Services (CS) interview rooms

Resume Referral Service

Submitting your resume to eR allows employers direct, confidential access to your resume. This service can NOT be provided to you unless you maintain a current resume in eR. Before publishing your resume to eR, review it against our Resume Self-Critique Checklist to make sure it is complete. If you do not have a resume, or your existing resume needs extensive work, please create one using Optimal Resume. Completed resumes that meet our resume check-list can be sent directly to our career counseling staff via email to careercounseling@southeastern.edu for a quick review.

  • Employers request CS to forward resumes to them based on qualifications for their position vacancy

  • Once received, the employer will review and contact those they wish to interview

  • Interviews are usually then conducted at the employer's location

Resume Books

Submit different versions of your resume for various resume books targeted to specific fields/industries (e.g., a biology major interested in sales could submit a sales resume into the "Sales Resume Book").
