Tuition and Fees - Spring 2017


 

FEE PAYMENT DEADLINE

January 6, 2017, at 12:30 p.m. -- Fee Payment Deadline and Class Cancellation For Non-payment for all students registered for Spring 2017 classes. Students who have not paid by 12:30 pm will be cancelled from their classes. Payments must be received and posted to the students account before 12:30 pm. 

Payments made at the Cashier's Office must be in the form of cash, check or money order. All credit card payments must be made via your LeoNet account. Southeastern accepts Mastercard, VISA, American Express and Discover credit cards.

Southeastern offers two payment options: The Southeastern Payment Plan and the Emergency Loan.

January 10, 2017 -- Students will be financially responsible for any classes remaining on their schedule as of 5:00 pm.

January 11-12, 2017 -- Drop/Add period. Students may make final schedule adjustments until 5:00 pm January 12, 2017. Students will be financially responsible for any classes remaining on their schedule.

January 13, 2017 -- All fee balances incurred during final registration and drop/add must be paid by 12:30 pm.

Out of State Students - Southeastern offers fee waivers for eligible out-of-state students. Please refer to the university catalogue for specific eligibility criteria.

Credit hours and fees for any course taught between enrollment periods (Interim classes) are associated with the next upcoming semester. For example, courses taught between the Spring Semester and the Summer Semester will be associated with the Summer Semester. Fees will be based on the Summer tuition figures and hours will be included as additional hours for the Summer. Fees for interim courses must be paid on or before the first class meeting day of the interim course.

REFUNDS FOR DROP IN HOURS:

Students who decrease their course load by the end of the drop/add period (January 12, 2017 at 5:00 pm), will receive a refund of fees previously paid. To drop all your classes during the drop/add period, students will need to resign from the university and receive a "W" grade for the last class left on their schedule. Students who reduce their course load after the end of the drop/add period will receive NO refund for this reduction.

 

RESIGNATION REFUND SCHEDULE

In order to receive 100% refund through January 10, 2017, students must drop to ZERO (0) hours. Beginning January 11, 2017, students should resign to receive the refund listed below.

Note: Students who receive Title IV federal financial aid will be refunded based on the below schedule; however, students may be required to repay the unearned portion based on the percentage of classes attended.
