African American Alumni Chapter

AAAC GroupAbout the AAAC

African American Alumni Chapter was chartered on April, 17, 2002 on Southeastern Louisiana University campus. There were eleven members that chartered this branch under the Alumni Association. Dr. Duane Donald served as the first president for the chapter and the chapter has been going strong since. African American Alumni Chapter is a group of Alumni that loves giving back to Southeastern as well as to the community. Anyone that has 24 credits at Southeastern Louisiana could become a member of this chapter. We put on an event in the Spring and Fall in which all proceeds goes to the our two scholarship funds, in which are given to an undergraduate that meets the criteria. We are better together, Lion made, Lion Proud, and Lion Up!
