Project PULL Mentoring Program

Project PULL (Promoting Unity through Leadership & Learning)
is a program that enhances the educational experience for freshmen through mentoring, leadership development, service and fun activities.

Spring Multicultural Awards Banquet

During the Spring, African-American and International students are recognized for their outstanding achievements in academics, athletics, community service, and leadership.

Black History Month

February is Black History Month and Southeastern recognizes the contribution of African Americans both past and present with a month long celebration of art, music, lectures, and entertainment.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Remembrance Program

In recognition of the life and contributions of Dr. King, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. sponsors a ceremony to pay tribute on the Wednesday after the King Holiday. 

Fall Carnival

MISA partners with Black Student Union, Recreational Sports and Wellness and the Office for Student Engagement each Halloween to provide an alternative to traditional door-to-door trick-or-treating for the children of the surrounding community.  We provide games, bounce houses, balloon artists and more. 

Multicultural Holiday Celebration

A holiday meal in early December with minority and international students unifying for an end of the semester celebration.
