OSE Graduate Assistants

The Office for Student Engagement encourages development through co-curricular and extracurricular experiences while providing an inclusive environment for the student body.

Graduate Assistant General Expectations and Responsibilities

Hours
- Graduate Assistants will work 20 hours per week.  
- These hours may be during normal business hours or occasionally evenings or weekends for events and programs.  

Location of work
- You may be required to work in the OSE main office, Student Union room 2307, the Student Leadership and Governmental Affairs office, Student Union room 2302.  
- You may also be required to work at various event locations, both indoors and outdoors.


General Duties
- Assist with other office functions as needed, including assisting with front office duties (telephones, customer services) as needed.


Terms of Employment
- Graduate Assistants are employed with OSE per semester.  Applications must be submitted each semester in order to be considered for employment.


Enrollment
- Must be enrolled in a graduate program at Southeastern full-time
- Follow all university policies and procedures
