University Communications and Creative Services
Directly reporting to the Office of Public and Governmental Affairs, the Office of University Communications and Creative Services provides the university with a cohesive approach to communications involving both external and internal audiences. With an overarching emphasis on branding that consistently demonstrates the university’s identity the office is charged with crafting and presenting material for media distribution, campus viewership, advertising and more. These tasks are achieved via such outlets including, but not limited to, graphic design, admissions marketing and external publications content, media representation, print and electronic campus communications, logo usage maintenance, event and news promotion and/or coverage, social media coordination, photography, environmental design, and digital media content, design and utility.
Additionally, crisis communication, whether posting emergency notifications on the website or operating a media zone in the event of an incident on campus, is included within UCCS’ responsibilities of print and electronic campus communications and media representation.
