    College of Business

    A number of supporters of the College of Business have provided endowments in order to fund student scholarships.  In order to apply for any scholarship, each student must meet the scholarship's eligibility criteria as described in the Scholarship Information section related to each scholarship.

    Please note not all scholarships are available each year.

     

    An email notification will be sent to students eligible to apply for available scholarships.

     

    Accepting applications for the following through October 6, 2017 at 12:30 pm:

     

    Althouse Nesser K-Team Printing and Imaging Endowed Scholarship in Business

    • Must be enrolled a full-time status in the College of Business
    • Must have a minimum overall college GPA of 2.0
    • Must submit a one page written essay to answer the question: "What is my primary goal in life and why am I a candidate for this scholarship?"
    • Special consideration may be given to students who are employed at K-Team Printing and Imaging. This student must meet all other criteria as well
    • Must include a copy of their resume

    Basil Owen Sweatt College of Business Alumni Chapter Endowed Scholarship

    • Must be majoring in a discipline of the College of Business
    • Will be an upper-classman and will have successfully completed at least 90 semester hours and be on track to graduate
    • Must have an overall college cumulative GPA of at least 2.5
    • Though financial need is not the only requirement for candidates to be considered, students should exhibit good faith by having some employment, at least part-time or exhibiting a reason they are not contributing financially to their education because of extenuating circumstances, as in caring for a child
    • Must be enrolled full-time
    • Must include a copy of their resume

    Boudreaux Family Endowed Scholarship for Future Leaders in Supply Chain Management

    • Must be majoring in the Supply Chain Management program
    • Must have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.5
    • Must be involved in at least one (1) campus or community organization in a leadership capacity (at the time of the scholarship award)
    • Must be enrolled full-time
    • Must include a copy of their resume

    Dallas LaRoy and Helen D. Calmes Memorial Scholarship in Marketing

    • Must be majoring in Marketing
    • Must have achieved a minimum overall GPA of 3.0
    • A minimum of $400 available per student per semester
    • Must include a copy of their resume

    Donald E. Martinez Endowed Scholarship in Accounting

    • Must have achieved a 3.0 or higher GPA
    • Must be majoring in Accounting
    • Preference will be given to a student who expresses their interest in tax
    • Must be enrolled full-time
    • Must include a copy of their resume

    Institute for Global & Domestic Development Scholarship

    • Special consideration should be given to students who have demonstrated experience in or a commitment to working with the Latin-American community
    • Must have achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
    • Must be enrolled full-time
    • Must include a copy of their resume

    Paul M. and DeNise S. Marek Scholarship in Finance or Accounting

    • Must be majoring in finance or accounting, with preference given to finance majors
    • Must have successfully completed at least 60 hours (junior or senior standing)
    • Must have a minimum overall college GPA of 3.0
    • Must be enrolled full-time
    • Must include a copy of their resume

    R.K. Hoddinott Endowed Scholarship in Business & Technology

    • Minimum GPA of 2.5
    • Must be a male or female majoring in the College of Business
    • Must be of good moral character
    • Must demonstrate financial need
    • Must be enrolled full-time at SLU

    Sidney Paul Dugas Scholarship

    • Must be majoring in the Supply Chain Management program
    • Must have achieved a minimum overall GPA of 2.5
    • First preference must be given to an Advanced Cadet – that being one who has signed a contract to accept a commission upon graduation, if one is offered. Second preference must be given to an Army ROTC Cadet
