Online Courses Regarding online offerings, the University will operate a small number of online courses over the next two years. This is a severe departure from the online activity that has recently occurred since the program was initiated in 2003. It will no longer be possible to complete more than 50% of a degree or certificate program online.

Southeastern understands that the change in online offerings will affect students and their ability to complete some programs in a preferred timeframe. The university will working with each current student to create the most effective plan for completion of coursework.

While the university remains accredited, some of the online courses that students have taken may not yet be included in the university accreditation. To answer the question of which courses are affected, a student-by-student analysis is being conducted.

All students who have taken online courses will receive specific communication from the University with further clarifications. After that point, the Office of Student Services and Academic Advising will be available for counseling.

Southeastern is working with our accreditors to ask that ALL online courses be included in the accreditation of the university.

The university regrets that it cannot provide specific answers regarding individual student situations in reference to online classes while the analysis is in progress. However, each student will be contacted when transcripts and records have been reviewed, and campus updates will provide details on this process.
