Sims Library Announces Hours For Final Exam Week

Ready or not, November is here and final exam week is coming soon Monday, November 30 to Friday, December 4. It’s time to make plans for studying. To kickoff exam week, Sims Library will be open on Saturday, November 28, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. “Students are our top priority,” said Janie Branham, Interim Director of Sims Library. “We want to announce our exam week hours well in advance Novso students can make plans to be here.” 

Library hours during Finals Week:

Saturday, Nov. 28 from 11:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 29 from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Monday - Thursday, Nov. 30-Dec. 3  7:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Friday, Dec. 4    7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

Saturday-Sunday, Dec. 5-6, closed

 

“Due to COVID-19 safety protocols, we cannot offer 4th floor study rooms,” said Branham, “but you can still count on Sims Library to be open, have wifi, and our dedicated staff who are here to help.” The Library has a mask requirement and social distancing for those entering the building. “These COVID-19 protocols will remain in effect until the University and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) lift restrictions,” said Branham. 

The Library will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, November 25-27.  After exams, on Monday, December 7, the Library will move to the University schedule 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays, and on Fridays, from 7:30 am-12:30 pm.
