It's the most wonderful time of the year to be a Lion! There is something for everyone during our Homecoming Week festivities. Check out the full schedule, and below are some of the event highlights for students: 

HOMECOMING WEEK 2020 is here! You have been selected for a top secret mission.

Operation: Where's Roomie is to be carried out between October 19-24. Southeastern is counting on you to find Roomie by Homecoming night!

Monday, Oct. 19

Top Secret Mission: Homecoming Kick-Off
Where's Roomie? We need you to find him! Your mission begins now. Stop by Cook Field on N orth Campus (Next to Alumni Center) from 5-9 pm. Grab your 2020 Homecoming T-shirt (while supplies last) and enjoy the bonfie, free food and fun + live music! This event is limited to 200 people. 

 

Tuesday, Oct. 20

Lion Up Tuesday: Show your Lion Pride in green and gold!

Lunch with the Lions: Lunch is served! Stop by the Union Breezeway starting at 11 am to enjoy free lunch (while supplies last)! This is event is brought to you by Southeastern Athletics.

Movie Night in Strawberry Stadium: Join us on the field of Strawberry Stadium at 7 pm to watch The Pacifier. Bring your own blanket! This event is limited to 200 people. 

 

Wednesday, Oct. 21

Gumbo YaYa: It’s a Southeastern tradition! Join us for delicious food, games and fun surprises from 11 am to 2 pm in the area outside the Student Union Mall. The 2020 Homecoming court will be introduced to the student body during the festivities.

  

Brush Away Stress Painting Event: Let your creative side shine at 5:30 pm in Friendship Circle. 

 

 

Thursday, Oct. 22

Lip Sync Contest: This is a favorite event of our students! The fun begins at 6 pm in Strawberry Stadium

 

Friday, Oct. 23

Picnic in the Park: FREE concert at Cate Square Park from 5-7:30 pm featuring Bulletproof. Grab your favorite food to-go from a local restaurant before you come then pick a spot in the grass to enjoy the music! Groups will be able to sit together in marked areas that are 6 feet apart from others. Feel free to bring blankets and lawn chairs. No tents, please. 

 

Saturday, Oct. 24

Classics in Blue Jeans: 10 am in Frienship Circle
Southeastern Community Music School celebrates its 25th Anniversary with this outdoor concert.  

Homecoming 2020 Drive-Through Parade: 12 pm throughout campus
Join in the parade by driving through campus to enjoy the displays and performances of our student organizations, departments and local dance groups! Register to drive your vehicle through the parade by Oct. 22. 

Homecoming Royalty Announcement: 2 pm in University Center
Join SGA as they crown this year’s Homecoming Royalty! Be there as the 2020 Southeastern Homecoming King and Queen are crowned, and the 2020 Homecoming winners are announced! The University Center opens at 1:30 pm and the announcements are at 2 pm.

Fall Fest: 1:30-4:30 pm
This event feature family fun like Trunk-or-Treating around the Circle, face painting by the SLU Cheerleaders & Lionettes, opportunities to take pictures with the SLU student-athletes & Roomie and more! Prizes will be given to the best decorated Trunk-or-Treat car and the best Halloween costume! For more information, visit the LAA website.
