Disaster Relief Fund

The Southeastern Foundation established a Disaster Relief Fund to provide help directly to our students, faculty, and staff in need following the historic flooding that devastated much of south Louisiana.

Apply for Assistance

The recent flooding in our region threw the lives of many Lions into disarray at the beginning of a new semester. The Disaster Relief Fund was established to assist as many members of our Southeastern family as possible to cover short term needs that arise as a result of the flooding. Students, faculty, and staff seeking assistance can apply here.

Give Now to the Disaster Relief Fund

The support we receive from alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends of the University will provide assistance and relief to Lions impacted by the recent flooding. Your donation will help ensure that students affected by the floods can continue their education despite the circumstances by providing assistance with short term loss of income due to disaster, transportation costs, and replacement of essential belongings/clothes/supplies, etc.

You may also donate to or drop off food for the student food pantry at the Office of University Advancement in Dyson Hall on Southeastern's campus.
