Reset Your Southeastern Email

It appears that a malicious link was sent out claiming to be Southeastern. If you clicked on the link and entered your information, then your email account has likely been compromised and therefore disabled. 

The first step you will need to take to have your account restored will be to change your password.
 
You can do so by going to selu.edu/student and clicking on "I forgot my password" (located below the sign in button). Then follow the prompts. 

After doing so, please contact the Student Help Desk at 985.549.2700 so they can contact the postmaster to restore your account. 

Once your account has been restored, you will need to follow the below instructions to be sure that your settings are correct:

  1. Check to see that your account name label has NOT changed.
    The name label precedes your actual email address.
    (Example FirstName LastName YourEmailAddress@southeastern.edu
  2. Click here and click the EDIT INFO next to the DEFAULT account you have highlighted.
  3. Make sure your mail forward is NOT set. Click here to check.
