Southeastern hosts 'bar party' Thursday for alumni and friends

HAMMOND -- The Tangi Chapter of the Southeastern Louisiana University Alumni Association will host a “bar party,” featuring potato and dessert bars and soft drinks, for alumni and their families and friends on Thursday, Feb. 1.
The get‑together is scheduled for 5-6 p.m. at the Alumni Center. Guests can enjoy a “make‑your‑own” meal and attend the Southeastern women’s and men’s home basketball games against Southland Conference rival McNeese State University. The Lady Lions will play 5:45 p.m., while the Lions tip off at 7:45 p.m. Both games are scheduled for the University Center arena.
“We hope everyone from the campus and community will join us for what has become a popular annual event,” said Nick Locascio, assistant Alumni director. “Your ‘little Lions’ are welcome, too.”
