SBDC offers continuing education for residential contractors

HAMMOND – The Southeastern Louisiana University Small Business Development Center along with the Tangipahoa Homebuilders Association and Design Tech Engineering LLC will offer a continuing education seminar on new code requirements.
The New Code Requirements seminar will be held at the Southeastern University Center on Univesity Avenue in Hammond on Jan. 24 from noon-4 p.m. Seating for the free seminar is limited and registration is preferred.
Topics will include clarification on engineered wind resistant construction, energy code compliance, Manual J calculations, and more. Four hours of continuing education will be awarded.
