For the 10th consecutive year, the Hammond Police Officers Union, Local 345 has presented a donation to the Southeastern Louisiana University Development Foundation to fund a scholarship presented annually to two students from Tangipahoa Parish majoring in criminal justice. Accepting the donation from union representative Sgt. Charles Deliberto, second from right, are, from left, John Boulahanis, assistant professor of criminal justice; Tammy Bourg, dean of the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences; and John Crain, provost and vice president for academic affairs.
