Southeastern conference will address legal claims in the workplace

     HAMMOND – The Southeastern Louisiana University Small Business Development Center and Louisiana Attorney General's Office will host a special conference, "Preventing Harassment and Abuse Claims in the Workplace," Friday, April 11, at the Livingston Parish Literacy and Technology Center in Walker. 

    The free conference will address harmful litigation that can cost businesses clients, time and money. Class topics will include sexual harassment, domestic violence, labor issues, and Internet safety.

    The conference is scheduled from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided. Participants will receive a certificate of completion.
