Southeastern's Gamma Beta Phi inducts 82 students

HAMMOND – Southeastern Louisiana University’s chapter of the service and honor society Gamma Beta Phi inducted 82 new members on Nov. 2.
Gamma Beta Phi members are selected from among university Honors List students, full time students who have earned a minimum 3.0 grade point average. Members must maintain their grades and complete a variety of service projects.
Through recent service activities Gamma Beta Phi donated to the Tangi Food Pantry more than a thousand pounds of food collected during its annual Homecoming Ton of Fun food drive, gathered 60 pints of blood for the Southeastern Blood Center and collected more than five dozen coats for underprivileged children.
