HAMMOND – A new dining outlet has been added to Southeastern Louisiana University’s War Memorial Student Union.
Popeye’s Chicken & Biscuits will host a grand opening on Monday, Oct. 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., said Martin Balisteri, food service director for Aramark, Southeastern’s food services provider.
“The festivities will take place in the Lion’s Den and Student Union mall and begin with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11 a.m.,” Balisteri said. “There will be lots of fun including a rubber chicken toss game, biscuit stacking contest, prize drawings and more.”
Aramark oversees 10 dining locations on Southeastern’s campus.
