HAMMOND – KSLU 90.9FM, Southeastern Louisiana University’s public radio station, has rescheduled its fourth Guitar Hero Challenge in the Student Union mall on Sept. 17-18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Originally scheduled for Sept. 4-5, the event was postponed due to Hurricane Gustav.

Chad Pierce, KSLU underwriting and development representative, said Southeastern students will have the opportunity to rock while playing the popular Playstation video game to classic Aerosmith tunes.

KSLU will charge $2 a song with proceeds going to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

“Everyone is encouraged to play. There are no age limits,” said Pierce. “We’ve seen students, staff, faculty and visitors rock out on the stage.”
