SOUTHEASTERN RECEIVES SPONSORSHIP FROM STATE FARM -- Southeastern Louisiana University recently received a $7,500 sponsorship from State Farm Insurance for a stock market competition to be held this summer for area high schools. Participating students will have the opportunity to learn about finance and the overall theory of investment. Camp participants will meet in Southeastern’s finance lab to pick stock and create and manage a portfolio. Awards will be given at the end of camp for the best performing portfolio. For more information about the stock market camp, contact the College of Business dean’s office at 985-549-2258.
