Southeastern to resume normal operating hours Monday

HAMMOND – Southeastern Louisiana University will end its four-day, 10-hour day work week schedule this Thursday (Aug. 6), university officials announced.
Normal operating hours of 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, will resume Monday, Aug. 10. Classes start on Wednesday, Aug. 19.
The university implemented a four-day work week during the summer for the second consecutive year. The change saves the institution an estimated $200,000 in energy costs.
