Jefferson chapter hosts alumni night at Zephyrs game

HAMMOND – The Jefferson Parish Chapter of the Southeastern Louisiana University Alumni Association is hosting Southeastern alumni night with the New Orleans Zephyrs baseball team on Thursday, June 4. Southeastern President John L. Crain will toss the first pitch as the Zephyrs take on Albuquerque at 6 p.m.
“Southeastern’s mission is truly regional in scope. Jefferson Parish has always been and will continue to be a valued contributor to our tradition of excellence,” said Crain. “We are proud and priviledged to have had 1,102 Jefferson Parish students enrolled in 2008 and more than 3,000 registered Lion alumni who reside on the south shore.”
Tickets are $10 each, with $5 from each ticket sold going to the Alumni Association.
