HAMMOND – Fanfare, Southeastern Louisiana University’s annual celebration of the arts, humanities and social sciences, is giving a party in honor of its donors on Thursday, Oct. 29.
Hosted by John and Anita Walker and Billy and Sandra Gilbreath of Family Medicine Physicians, the party will be held at the historic Walker home on Robert Street. The Walker’s home was featured in the May 2009 issue of “New Orleans Homes and Lifestyles.”
“This is an opportunity for us to say ‘thanks’ for the tremendous support that Fanfare receives from our many friends in the area,” said Donna Gay Anderson, director of Fanfare and the Columbia Theatre for the Performing Arts. “Without their backing, Fanfare would have never have become the success that it is.”
