Southeastern fans encouraged to decorate at tailgate

HAMMOND – Southeastern Louisiana University tailgaters are invited to let their decorating flair “roar” at Homecoming, Oct. 17.
There is no charge for tailgating groups in Friendship Circle to enter the “Decorate Your Tailgate” contest. Participants can give a “Lion twist” to this year’s Homecoming theme, “Roomie’s Got Game” and incorporate their favorite board game or create traditional decorations inspired by the university’s green and gold colors.
Judging will take place both before and after the 2 p.m. Homecoming parade. A Sweepstakes Winner and prize for Most Creative Décor will be announced during the 6 p.m. Lions vs. Sam Houston State game in Strawberry Stadium.
