Legislative 'Hobnob' scheduled Feb. 25

HAMMOND – The Southeastern Louisiana University Alumni Center will serve as the site for an open meeting with area legislators Thursday, Feb. 25, at 6 p.m.
Sponsored by the chambers of commerce of Amite, Hammond, Independence and Ponchatoula, the “Legislative Hobnob” provides an opportunity for the local organizations to present their governmental affairs priorities on behalf of the business community to the legislators from the north shore area. Legislators will also have the opportunity to outline their plans in advance of this spring’s Legislative Session.
