Contestants in the “Baby Miss” pageant must be able to walk alone on stage during the competition.
The program begins with an 11 a.m. check in for “Baby Miss” and continues throughout the day with the crowning of “Junior Miss” and “Teen Miss” at 6:30 p.m. For more information about the pageant schedule or to register to participate, contact CAB at 985-549-3805 or cab@selu.edu.
Winners in all age divisions will receive a rhinestone crown, trophy and title banner and will be eligible to participate as royalty in the Miss Southeastern 2011 pageant. First through third place alternates in each age division will receive trophies, and all participants will be given a participation certificate.
Pageant participants may register until March 5 for a cost of $50, and children of Southeastern alumni will receive a reduced registration fee of $45. General admission to the pageant is $5 and children under 5 will get in free.
A Photogenic Contest will also be held during the pageant and awarded to one contestant in each age division. Interested contestants are required to submit a 5x7 color or black and white photo and an additional $5 with their application. Those who would like to participate in the Photogenic Contest without taking part in the “Miss Green and Gold Pageant” may do so by submitting an application with $5; no application fee is required.
