Southeastern Diamond Girl applications due February 1

HAMMOND – Applications for the 2010 Southeastern Louisiana University baseball program’s Diamond Girl squad are being accepted until Feb. 1.
The 2010 Diamond Girls will have a visible role on game days at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field and may be counted on to act in support roles and make promotional and community relations appearances for the athletic department throughout the season.
Full-time Southeastern students are encouraged to apply by either downloading an application on www.LionSports.net or picking up an application from the Lions’ Baseball Office in the Dugas Center.
Applications should be filled out and returned to the Lions’ Baseball Office no later than Monday, Feb. 1 at 4:30 p.m. Interviews will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 2nd and Thursday, Feb. 4th with the roster finalized shortly thereafter.
As representatives of Southeastern Louisiana University and the Lion Athletic Department, all members of the 2010 Diamond Girls will be expected to meet academic and personal conduct requirements.
