Southeastern Art faculty to display work

HAMMOND – The works of 18 Southeastern Louisiana University Department of Visual Arts faculty members will be on display Jan. 27-Feb. 26 at the university’s Contemporary Arts Gallery in East Strawberry Stadium.
An opening reception is scheduled Wednesday, Jan. 27, from 5-7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Artists exhibiting their work include Roy Blackwood, Ben Diller, Karin Eberhardt, Kimberly Finley, Jean Flint, Yvonne James, Linda Katz, Gary Keown, Jeffrey Mickey, Ernest Milsted, Ed Morin, Dale Newkirk, Patricia Ramsey, Dennis Sipiorski, Bethany Souza, John Valentino, Tory Wingard and Sarah Wiseman.
The Contemporary Art Gallery is open 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. weekdays, with extended hours until 8 p.m. on Wednesdays. For additional information, contact Gallery Director Dale Newkirk, 985-549-5080.
