Feb. 17 final day for Southeastern students to apply for Spring 2010 graduation

HAMMOND – Wednesday, Feb. 17, is the final day that Southeastern Louisiana University students can apply to graduate in spring 2010. The graduation application and payment deadlines will be strictly enforced, university officials said.
Candidates for associate, bachelor, and master’s degrees can apply for graduation by logging into their Leonet campus accounts and choosing the ‘Apply for Graduation’ option. Instructions are available on the “Current Students” link (“Graduation Information – Apply for Graduation”) at www.selu.edu or by calling Southeastern’s Office of Records and Registration at 985-549-2066/62.
The $35 application fee should be paid directly to the Controller’s Office, located on North Campus in the Financial Aid Building.
Although the graduation application deadline is traditionally Feb. 15, the deadline has been extended for two days since the university will be closed for the Mardi Gras holiday.
Spring commencement exercises are scheduled for May 15 at the University Center.
