SBDC and Northshore Regional Endowment for the Arts host "Meet the Music"

HAMMOND – The Louisiana Small Business Development Center at Southeastern Louisiana University, along with the Northshore Regional Endowment for the Arts, will host “Meet the Music,” a roundtable discussion for current and aspiring musical artists on Tuesday, March 23.
Scheduled at the Southeast Louisiana Business Center on Martens Drive in Hammond from 3 – 5 p.m, the event will provide a platform to discuss important issues in the music industry, including music promotion, distribution, and digital technology.
A panel of experts includes: Jan Ramsey, publisher and editor in chief of “OffBeat Magazine;” Nick Thomas, director of programming and marketing at LRG (Lifestyle Revolution Group); and Tony Ciaccio, president of Hypersoul, LLC.
Musicians and bands participating in the 2010 Strawberry Jam ‘n Toast to the Arts are encouraged to attend, but all musical artists are welcome.
Although participation is free, pre-registration is preferred.
